Today, after school, a brother (8) and his sister (6) were waiting in the office for their mother to come pick them up. While I sat with them waiting and during the course of our conversation, the brother said, "Well, I know it must be hard for grandmas like you". I put on my shocked/incredulous face (to hide the OMG face) and replied "Grandma...you think I look like a grandma?" He smiled and blushed a little as he walked away. At the same time his little sister leaned in close and said, "You're a nanna, not a grandma". I asked her what the difference was and she said, "A nanna is a grandma that doesn't look old.".
Someday, in the not too distant future, that little girl is going to rule the world.
Have I ever mentioned that I love my job?

Gotta love children and their extreme truthfulness! Yesterday at the store we walked by this really big samoan looking guy and Lyza says really loudly, "wow, that's a really big guy."

I'll be retelling this to my friends.
